Happy New Years from JBLM!
JBLM has had a really busy year in 2012, and our real estate market has too! Our assigned strength has increased to approx 46,000 active duty (Army and Air Force), and this year JBLM is expected to exceed Ft Hood in active duty population! The local real estate market and economy has experianced a lot of growth as well, fueled both by JBLM and Boeing. If you are moving here, congratulations..you will love it. If you are already here, you know what I mean.
The attached press release is from the North West Multiple Listing Service, a service that consolidates real estate listings for all of Washington and Oregon, and of which I am a member. As you read this, keep in mind that it accounts for the busy (JBLM area), and not so busy (rural) areas of the northwest.
