Mission: Satisfied Customer – Complete!
Phil really went above and beyond for us in our search for a home. My husband was relocated with the Army to Tacoma, WA. We knew nothing about the area, but we wanted to purchase our first home. I found Phil on facebook and began communicating with his team. Shortly after I began communications with them we started our pre-qualifications with USAA. USAA assigned us an agent with their movers advantage program and I apologized to Phil’s team that we’d be going with someone else. Even after this news, Jen from his team still sent us a relocation package with info on Washington and a book about VA loans and offered their help regardless.
Fast forward a week or so later and my husband and I decided to find a different place to get pre-qualified. The agent USAA assigned us wasn’t even willing to talk to us until she knew what we qualified for. So I contacted Phil’s team. We put all our trust in him, went through a recommended lending company and we began discussing what we were looking for in a home. We did many things by e-mail because we were in Nevada. His team and him were quick to respond and made our home buying process a breeze.
Spontaneously my husband and I decided to drive 13 hours to Tacoma where we met with Phil and looked at several properties. We only had a day in Tacoma before we had to drive back and Phil gave us his undivided attention. We made one offer and got a house that had multiple offers. Without Phil’s vast knowledge of real estate, we would never have obtained the property.
What was most important to us was Phil’s honesty. We have a baby and wanted to live in a safe neighborhood. Phil was honest to us about which houses were in good neighborhoods vs. not so good. He gave us his opinion when asked and was such a resourceful tool when buying our first home.
Him and his wife were very welcoming and were so kind to us even after the completion of our purchase. I would recommend Phil to anyone I know, military or not. You will not meet a more helpful and kind Realtor.
