Recently the newest middle school in the North Thurston Public School District opened its doors to the public for an open house. The school is about 99% complete and will be ready for all the students in September 2016. Salish Middle School, located at 8605 Campus Glen Dr NE, is built on 19 acres and has the following features according to the NTPS:

Salish Middle School is located in the Hawks Prairie area of Lacey where lots of new homes are being built.
